Penetrate
用法：①If something or someone penetrate a physical object or an area， they succeed in getting into it or passing through it.
例句：The distance was more than 350 miles and there were ridges to cross and a wilderness of woods and swamps to penetrate. （1996-10）
②If someone penetrate an organization， a group， or a profession， they succeed in entering it although it is difficult to do so.
③If someone penetrates an enemy group or a rival organization， they succeed in joining it in order to get information or cause trouble.
④if a company or country penetrates a market or area， they succeed in selling their products there.

Perceive
用法：①If you perceive something， you see， notice， or realize it， especially when it is not obvious.
②If you perceive someone or something as doing or being a particular thing， it is your opinion that they do this thing or that they are that thing.
例句： How a speaker perceives the listener”s receptiveness， interest， or sympathy in any given conversation can drastically alter the tone of presentation， by encouraging or discouraging the speaker. （2000-01）
