With his use of new amplifier feedback techniques, which were previously deemed undesirable, and his fusion of blues, R&B, soul, funk, and jazz, Jimi Hendrix forever changed the face of Rock'n Roll. His original music and lyrics brought him much success and also influenced other musicians such as Stevie Ray Vaughn, Jimmy Page, and Eric Clapton. Hendrix will forever be known for his revolutionary take on music and how he popularized the distinct sound of Rock.
