To the most of the high school students, college entrance examination is the only way they can enter a college to continue their education.

Some say it is not fair because this is the primary cause of the exam-oriented education, the students have to do well in every subject to get into a good college, it is not fair for those who are talented in specific majors while not so good in other ones. However, I think the current college entrance examination system is fair to the most of students.

The college entrance examination only requires the students do well in study, power and wealthy family of the students won”t do anything with it. It gives those students from poor family a chance to receive higher education, helps them to change their fate of being born in a poor family. These students maybe have lost at the starting line, but the college entrance examination system gives a second chance to start with others at the same line again.
高考只要求學生學習好，那些來自權勢和富裕家庭的學生并沒有得到特別優(yōu)待。它給了那些來自貧困家庭的學生接受高等教育的機會，幫助他們改變出生于貧困家庭的命運、這些學生可能輸在了起跑線上，但是高考制度給了他們第二次機會，讓他們與其他人在同一條線上起跑。

So, in the current education environment, I think the college entrance examination system is fair.
